Inspiration
We rise to greet a new dawn with the freshness of the morning dew refreshing the wild flowers. As the mist dissolves to the warming of the sun, we sip on our coffee, allowing the essences of the beans to awaken our senses and our bodies. We savor the buttery goodness of new opportunities and gifts of the unfolding day. From our abundant hearts come forth life-giving words and actions, seasoned with kindness. What would our
daily existence in this world look like if we approached every season in this light?
Áthas (pronounced AW-Haas) is an Irish word, which describes the joy arising from internal considerations. Channeling our thoughts towards gratitude can invoke in us contentment with life in every circumstance.
Creation
In this reflective cocktail, which reminds us to savor the magic and beauty of life, I began with the foundation of an Irish spirit. Combined with the warm coffee essences of Kahlua, the creamy richness of Baileys, and the flavor of butterscotch, which reminds most of us of our grandfathers, this concoction presents a satisfying substitute to desert. The flavor of raspberry, which denotes kindness, is drizzled on top for a sweet finish, complimenting the Áthas Bliss filled with underlining inspiration.
